There are plenty of beautifully located huts in Obertauern, where you can eat well, have a drink – and naturally soak up the sun when the weather is good.

Edelweissalm
In this cosy hut with its nice sunny patio, right in the middle of the ski area, things get pretty wild in the late afternoon at the end of the skiing day. DJ Simon is behind the decks, making sure that even the most exhausted skiers can't help dancing. With a measure of healthy confidence, it is simply called 'The Best Après-Ski-Party in Obertauern'.

Lürzer Alm
The Lürzer Alm is the pinnacle of après ski in Obertauern. It is situated right next to the piste, a veritable cauldron of ski huts, patio areas and bars. Party mood guaranteed. Everyone meets up here after skiing from 4 pm onwards.

The Lürzer Alm is suitable for all ages, though, anyone from 18 to 70 can have a good time here. And if you want to do some serious partying, this is the place for it.

Almrausch/Schrotteralm
The Hotel Almschlössl and the Schrotteralm belonging to the hotel are situated right next to the piste. In the afternoon it gets really busy here, particularly in the 'Almrausch': après ski and party, stopping by with a 'refreshment swing' to soak up the rustic atmosphere, including walls covered with traditional 'charivari'.

Flubachalm
The Flubachalm serves hearty 'Skihüttenschmankerl'. A nice place for a break. In the afternoons, it's party time in the Monteflu-Salettl, the Flubachalm's corresponding bar. Once a month, the bar hosts a 'moonshine party' with live music – and all for free. The visitors book is full of people enthusing about 'legendary' concerts.
